This year’s festival hub inside and outside the Galerie Nord are a locus for exchanging information and for social encounters, a place for the festival’s visitors to spend time, and a platform for a variety of events.
In this sense, they fulfil an organizational and social function. During the week before the official opening of the Moabit art festival ortstermin 21, they will provide general information about the festival as well as details concerning exhibitions, open studios, events, and highlights of the festival weekend taking place on particular days.
The festival hub is made of a modular system created by the ON/OFF design collective, the shape of which is subject to an ongoing reset , thus taking on a new shape both inside and outside the Galerie Nord: becoming a platform for performances, dialogue, and interaction among visitors.
