The special exhibition in the flesh in the Erlöserkirche in Moabit is dedicated to the human dimensions of the carnal. At this place of faith, the exhibition approaches cultural and spiritual ideas of the human as a carnal form of existence. Through the perspectives of the five artists, in the flesh becomes a reflective exploration of the experience, permeability and protection of human flesh and at the same time poses the question of the differences between meat and flesh.

The special exhibition piece of meat poses the question how animals are valued and categorised as livestock, whose meat often appears as a core interest in human consumption. While humans protect and preserve their carnality between cultural, religious and moral practices, the value of animal flesh - meat - rises and falls. The works of the five artists illuminate the various dimensions of animal carnality, from peaceful indistinguishability between animal and human to aspects of defence and mechanical processing.

The Kunstverein Tiergarten turns 20 in 2024 and its partnership with Hansa Primary School marks its 5th birthday. Reason enough for a new joint project! Twenty and Five is a journey through (an exhibition) space and time: it brings together art and archive, vision and interview, collage, video and animated film. The finished short film, which features snapshots from the last 20 years of exhibitions in Moabit, lots of art and many clever comments will be shown during the evening hours in the large window of Galerie Nord, as part of the anniversary exhibition RE:VISION.

Body Check
Agnes Lörincz ↓
My group of works ‘Body Check’ deals with the subject of women's bodies with regard to self-optimisation in order to meet society’s - and especially men’s - expectations. It also addresses the aspect of ‘female flesh’ as a commodity for the porn industry.
The pictures depict womens’ bodies in various positions, often only in fragments. The women look thoughtful, sometimes accusatory, or they are in a waiting position and seem to be completely absent. In some pictures, imprints of underwear such as panties and vests can be seen in the background, whilst the women painted on the surface are also only depicted in bras and panties. For example, the picture ‘Blick zurück’ shows a naked figure from behind, half-turned towards us, holding a handbag. Patterned fabrics are glued to her body, referencing a lack of clothing.
I wanted to show the vulnerability and exposure of women. I come from Romania and many women from my home country go to richer countries to earn money for their families through sex work. This aspect also flows into my work.

‘Meat’ refers to the raw steak in the supermarket display, “meat” is part of all our bodies. Usually well wrapped up in skin and clothing, we are hardly aware of it in everyday situations. Only when illnesses, injuries or dissatisfaction with our body image force us to confront our own flesh does it emerge from obscurity.
The artists Elisa Canducci and Fabrizia Vanetta have taken the festival theme of ‘flesh’ as an opportunity to create a completely new print. It covers the entire surface of the advertising pillar at Theatre X on the REFO Campus and transforms it into an object that raises the question of how we deal with meat - our own and that of others - in public spaces.
The advertising pillar with the print work by Canducci and Vanetta can be visited and viewed independently of opening hours and beyond the duration of the festival until mid-October.

Karen Scheper ↓
One can justifiably ask about the meaning of “Umriss” in Karen Scheper's drawings. The negation of figure appears on almost all of the sheets of paper; they refuse to be unambiguous and rarely reveal anything reliably legible. Yet, a new series of drawings shows a headless person performing a strange act with her hand. On each sheet of paper she is surrounded by various graphic structures, and at the same time, the white shirt she is wearing seems to merge with her torso in such a way that it depicts flesh tones.
A body with neither a face nor an identity initially only shows its carnality. Its mass corresponds to the materiality of a foreign body that exists in a conflicting state of tension. For some years now, Scheper has been working with images of bodies that seem to represent nothing other than found objects, objects in the landscape, bodily matrices that are trapped in a whirlwind or attacked by accumulations of graphic missions. One might view this as an act of dissolution or even Frankensteinian animation, yet it could just as well be the mere interaction of bodies and latent spaces. Text: H. Kann
Karen Scheper's artistic practice encompasses drawing, site-specific installation and spatial staging. Her work is characterised by the exploration of discontinuity and the drawing process. She uses conceptual drawing as a medium for analysing what she has seen or read as well as techniques of decomposition and collage. The text and image material used can be found in books or films, her own photographic archive and in online publications. It is dissected both shamelessly and conscientiously, transformed into variable spatial structures of lines or transferred into a graphic void.

Hanneke van der Hoeven is a painter and illustrator who tells stories. She likes to draw the whole world and go beyond not only what seems possible, but what is possible. In series, in rows, in sequences, often in black and white, strong line movements, great contrasts, accompanied by a minimal interspersion of colour. Everything floats, dances, screeches and smells. Everything is movement: stories told on paper.
Corn.elius Brändle is a book-artist, printer and publisher of editionwasserimturm. He loves books, beautifully designed books, concept, image, text, drawing on paper. Folded and bound between cardboard. Corn.elius is a minimalist... Every book and every print is an experiment. He screenprints his books, in small editions, whether they are his own projects or collaborations with other artists, illustrators and poets.

‘Die Radkappe’ is a travelling studio and exhibition space. Due to its mobility, the work successfully raises the fundamental question of what an exhibition space actually is, what it can and must achieve. Compared with classically immobile institutions, how suitable is it for storing and communicating art and culture? How can recipients be reached if there is no fixed visitor base? What possibilities are there for finding new locations for each exhibition, thereby creating permeable spaces where culture and everyday life meet? The ‘flesh’ and bone structure of cultural production under today's conditions are dissected. On educational trips, ‘Die Radkappe’ continues to serve as a mobile studio in which living and working spaces merge. Living, working, exhibiting and presenting come to be the objects of research and are part of the artistic working process.

Paradise Lost
Anat Homm
curated by Leonie Rösler and Marlene Sichelschmidt ↓
PARADISE LOST presents works by the artists ANAT HOMM and NADINE LOHOF. In AHs sculptural works, she deals with the transitions of carnality, sublimity and the transience of bodies. She carefully moulds each corpus from wax, layer by layer, as vulnerable and sensitive as human skin. The act of going underneath the skin has violent, scientific and erotic connotations. Where the epidermis breaks, we see gaping wounds and exposed intestines, while other injuries to flesh, such as bruises or contusions, lie beneath the surface. With anatomical fascination, the artist devotes herself to phenomena such as ‘wild flesh’ and, at the same time, manages to wander through the overlapping and merging body parts on the border between pleasure and pain, carnal desire and human destruction.

MEAT ME
LANDRO/Melanie Giovanna Landro ↓
I am a collage artist and at this year's ORTSTERMIN art festival, I would like to open my studio in the former Army Clothing Office’s maintenance depot to anyone interested in art and take them into the fascinating world of analogue collages.
With my works I would like to give an insight into this art form’s diversity and its design possibilities. I also want to show why I love every part of the process, from searching for suitable image material to the complications of cutting, tearing or folding paper.
On the one hand, my analogue, digital and mixed-media collages address social problems. On the other, the combination of exciting motifs, materials and the found creates a dynamic that immerses the viewer in a world of its own and captivates, irritates and fascinates with strong visual messages.
The theme: Meat! inspired me to create a series of 9 analogue collages in 30 x 30 cm format for this year's festival, which I will show in the exhibition entitled ‘’MEAT ME‘’. The partly striking, abstract and very colourful collages critically illuminate meat consumption, the ‘meat inspection’ and the subject in a variety of ways, in the style that collage does best: questioning reality - radically and uncompromisingly.

We have been sharing studio space for around ten years and have been working as a duo alongside our individual artistic practices since 2018. Photography – with a conceptual focus – is the starting point for Thomas Weinberger's work, which he often realises in installations and related contexts. Benjamin Zubers usually works intermedially with a focus on installation and sculpture. The technical backbone of his artistic practice lies in constantly reimagined methods of giving form to digitally developed concepts. Our joint works are based on observations that we perceive as sometimes bizarre, but often also tragic phenomena of competition, which has become the guiding principle of our (Western) society. For the festival, we would like to give an insight into our working methods and also install a few individual and joint works. We would also like to keep the thematic focus of the festival in mind.

Flesh & the Mirror. Das Selbstbildnis von Rebecca Fontaine-Wolf
Rebecca Fontaine-Wolf ↓
For the first time in Berlin, Haus Kunst Mitte dedicates an exhibition to the German-British artist Rebecca Fontaine-Wolf (born in Australia in 1982). In ‘Woman, Flesh & the Mirror: The Self-Portrait of Rebecca Fontaine-Wolf’, the Portugal-based artist explores female identity and sexuality, gender norms and the self-image in the digital age. In response to the coronavirus pandemic, she focuses on the portrayal of self in workcycles. With her unique physical-digital mixed media technique, she integrates the growing tensions between digital and physical realities into her creative process. Working from a female perspective but within patriarchal structures, she explores current trends such as self-fetishisation or how historical, religious and mythological symbols shape our sense of identity today. Her combination of universal archetypes with personal introspection lends her works a timeless, unique and moving power.

Monkey Mind. David Gunderlach. Malerei aus Vier Dekaden
David Gunderlach ↓
Haus Kunst Mitte is presenting for the first time an exhibition of works by painter David Gunderlach under the title Monkey Mind. On display are 50 paintings created over the last forty years. The exhibition title Monkey Mind refers to a Buddhist concept that describes the volatility and restlessness of the human brain and the lack of control over the flow of thoughts. Gunderlach‘s works are characterised by this restlessness. Many brushstrokes pointing in all directions, sketchy depictions of everyday objects and graffiti-like words and letters testify to a fast way of working. His works not only symbolise the fast pace of our thoughts, but also the fast pace of our modern lives. They stand for the realities of life at the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century, which are characterised by permanent acceleration, the compulsion to increase, innovation intensification and constant accessibility. Gunderlach‘s open compositions and the many references to city life epitomise the absurdity of the simultaneity of our everyday lives. .

Julian Larger, curated by Raphia Lina Zouaoui ↓
EROS EMBODIED - a multimedia reflection on flesh and being, characterised by physicality, love, queerness and religion. It explores the interfaces between sacred and profane forms of love. Julian Larger questions whether and how traditional views on sin and morality can be placed in the context of modern queer experiences. EROS EMBODIED is a visualisation of an inner conflict about how carnality and spiritual identities shape our understanding of intimacy and self, performed through painting, photography and installation.

In the summer of 1987, you get lost in a psychedelic spiral under Kreuzberg's Yorckbrücken with the letters ‘Fleisch!’, painted by the artist duo ‘Die Kombination’: the then 21-year-old Veronika (me) together with Evo, who has since vanished. On display is a small photo collage of this now historic art project for Berlin's 750th anniversary in 1987.
Apart from that, meat is stupid and the subject isn’t necessarily liked by Kunsthamster. Primarily, it is concerned with green stuff. And about cells that preserve or destroy us. The exhibits deal with my journey through the last year, on the road to recovery, from health to illness and therapy back to health, a position between a humorous perspective and malignant reality.

A PART OF MYSELF - Part I: Insomnia
Friede Poe ↓
Welcome to the dark world of my art, a world that does not shy away from the shortcomings of humanity, but exposes them with provocative self-assurance. I am a painter whose brushstrokes are meant to act like whiplashes on the souls of viewers, a painter who illuminates the dark corners of human existence with sharp precision and unrelenting rigour.
My paintings are not images of beauty, but a mirror that reflects the abysses of our own souls. They show the addictions, the self-destruction, the lies and the hatred that surround us and dominate us. The seven deadly sins - greed, pride, lust, envy, anger, gluttony and sloth - are my faithful companions on my journey through the human soul. They are the demons that lurk within each of us, just waiting to be unleashed.
My art is a biblical appeal to the do-gooders and hypocrites of this world, a call to truth and honesty. I penetrate the superficial facades and reveal the dark secrets hidden behind the masks. Because I, the artist myself, am not an innocent victim, but a monster who has the courage to become aware of her own abysses.
There are no idyllic landscapes or harmonious scenes in my paintings, but the harsh realities of life: war, violence, deceit and ruin. Yet in this darkness there is also a certain beauty - the beauty of truth, authenticity and liberation from illusion.
Look at my works with open eyes and a courageous heart. For only by confronting our own demons can we achieve true change. Welcome to my world of human abysses - may it shake you, challenge you and ultimately lead you to a deeper realisation of yourself.

The inspiration for these works of art is life itself - in all its bizarre and absurd splendour, tragedy and humour. Martin von Ostrowski: Warum Kunst?
Martin von Ostrowski ↓
To be exhibited in the studio are cube sculptures labelled ‘Why art? Martin von Ostrowski’ from the years 1997-2003 and paintings from the series “Why Art?” from the years 2022-2024. Whilst, on the cubes, the question is clearly recognisable and easy to read, the paintings obscure it. In these written pictures, Martin von Ostrowski repeatedly layered the painted question so often, that the viewer has to guess; seeing only a jumble of letters or illegible words. Two thirds of the paintings also show the artist's head in profile. In some cases, the letters can only be read in the profile of the head, in others they are also arranged in the surrounding space. For Martin von Ostrowski, the question of ‘Why?’ is a central motivation for his artistic work. A catalogue will be published to accompany the project.

The cuddly-toy-steak is made of different textiles with different textures in meaty shades of red, pink and white. It measures 150x50cm and is 10-20cm thick. Visitors are invited to cuddle with the cushion and have their photo taken. The work is fundamentally concerned with human perceptions and aesthetics in relation to animals. Factory farming is a very present and effective image for the public in the climate and animal welfare activist movement. These images point to our excessive meat consumption without any superficial layer of abstraction. ‘I ♥️ Steak’ criticises the loss of connection between living and dead animals, while the relationship between animal and artificial cuddly toy is perceived both directly and emotionally.

These objects are reshaped and combined with each other to create new forms, whilst the original object still remains recognisable. The reference to the theme of ‘flesh’ lies in the corporeality of the original objects and their transformation.

The musicians featured in the (jazz) concerts that the photographer attends make up the central themes of his work. Over a period of more than 40 years, a large amount of black and white portraits came into being, a selection of which is now being shown: Beginning with the New Jazz Festival in Moers on the Lower Rhine in the 1980s shot on an analogue camera, through to the jazz festivals and jazz clubs in Berlin in the 2020s shot on a digital camera. The pictures’ subject is always a single musician. Their extraordinary skill and the variety of instruments they play have become part of them, part of their body. This too is impressively captured in the photographs in the exhibition. And what better place for this theme than in a music school!

In my search for an idyll and an idealised world, I move between the poles of ideal, interpretation and reality. A romantic depiction of our landscape is far from my mind; I am interested in more than just the idealised and the atmospheric. In my painterly exploration, I refer to extreme phenomena in times of climate change. The longing for an intact nature inspires me and I take a stand. This makes paradise-like landscapes visible on the canvas, as well as their fragility and destruction.

Schnitte ins Holzfleisch: Gedruckte Fleischstücke von Kotelett bis T-Bone-Steak
Michael Ley ↓
Imagine if humans were a form of livestock for another unknown species with all meat, similar to our utilisation of pigs and cattle. Horrendous! I try to illustrate this idea by cutting into wood (meat i.e. pulp). We carve chops and entrecotes or rump. The works (max. A4) are then printed. In addition, a large format will be created with prints on drawing boards, e.g. 150x400 cm. Those interested can participate with Linoprints. And for experienced artists, woodcuts.

Landsend
Saskia Hubert ↓
In her photo series "Landsend," Saskia Hubert presents photographic compositions that combine organic and architectural elements. Her images depict man-made structures and rugged natural landscapes as interwoven, interrelated contrasts. Through her experimental approach, the artist invites viewers to reflect on human intervention in nature. Using complex photographic techniques—both digital and analogue—along with layering and compression, she creates images with a unique, deep colour palette and a strangely otherworldly, perhaps even fairy-tale-like appearance.
Photographer Saskia Hubert received her training at Lette Verein Berlin and at the Academy of Visual Arts (HGB) in Leipzig. Since 2010, she has been working as a freelance photographer in Berlin.

VULNERA
Barbara Duisberg ↓
The central theme in the contribution VULNERA (Wounds) is "Chechnya". A large group of mourning men stands by the body of Natalya Estemirova, a Russian journalist and human rights activist who was abducted and murdered in 2009. To this day, the crime remains unsolved. This is not an isolated incident—in totalitarian systems, critical voices are silenced. The stronger the spirit, the more vulnerable the flesh. The body is fragile. Other contributions include "Hebron," featuring three boys at border checkpoints, representing all children who are prevented from freely developing due to physical threats. "Italy" recalls the protective measures associated with the first wave of COVID-19, while "MRI" illustrates that our bodies are vulnerable even independently of global catastrophes. The images are sourced from press photos. The neutral gold background in the life-sized painterly interpretations focuses attention entirely on the human subject, highlighting the universal within the individual.

For the past five years, our painting groups have been meeting to "create something creative." We explore different techniques for creating images, get to know ourselves in the creative process, and exchange ideas about what works, what fits, and what fits less well, among other things.
The discussions also provide us with sociability, inspiration for everyday life... We look forward to welcoming new participants.
We are showcasing images created over the past two years.

Red Fibers
Umut Evers ↓
"Red Fibers" is a 5x5 metre installation made of old bed sheets, transformed through the Japanese Shibori technique and dyed with madder roots to create rich red hues. These deep red hues reflect the festival's theme, "Fleisch". Just as madder roots dye the fabric, meat consumption, industrialisation and its societal impact colour our cultural fabric. This piece explores the intertwined histories of consumption, industrialisation, and human connection. The labour-intensive Shibori method mirrors the complex social patterns related to meat -- from sustenance to symbol, luxury to necessity. The red hues evoke flesh, blood, and the intimate bonds within families and communities, symbolising both nourishment and exploitation. "Red Fibres" also addresses sustainability by repurposing old bed sheets, highlighting the cycle of life, death and rebirth.

In it, the temptation of consumption is present on every corner. “2 for the price of 1” is supposed to attract us. Meat and sugar are legally oversold, which also causes the growing numbers of immunity diseases. “Quality over quantity!” should push us to consume in a way that is more conscious of our health and environment!

In sickness and in health
Klaara Nieminen ↓
In recent years I have faced multiple medical issues that have affected my ability to paint as well as my relationship with art. I was prescribed glasses, then I had an eye infection and then a Covid infection that left me with chronic inflammation in my nose and ears. When I could paint again, I developed a wrist injury due to overworking. Not always being able to work has made me appreciate it much more and it has made me see how even the most conceptual and pre-thought requiring art has a physical, anatomical and carnal body behind it.
There are no spare parts for the human body, but luckily there are practical tools. In addition to glasses that help me see better, I bought a painter's wrist support that I had only seen in old artists' self portraits. It has eased the wrist pain and using it makes me feel connected to the artists before me. For this year's Ortstermin I would like to showcase art's power to emerge from any type of body in both sickness and in health.

Hair In The Dish
Vilma Leino ↓
Hair In The Dish is a photographic series depicting a scenario, where food made for usual human consumption is replaced with hair. A structure that consists of keratin, a protein that our digestive system cannot decompose. The series is inspired by trichophobia, the fear of hair. It tells nightmare-like and humorous stories about the symptoms of globus sensation, a scratchy feeling of having hair in the back of your throat, caused by stress and anxiety. The series plays with the idea of this uneasiness, making the daily act of consuming food both odd and impossible to perform. The Hair In The Dish exhibition displays seven self-portrait photographs and an installation that showcases an eerie dining scenario, which consists of colourful bowls and tableware covered in hair.

The Empty Green
Mikko Kelloniemi ↓
In his exhibition, Mikko Kelloniemi faces the "great unknown" - a time saturated by rapid technological development, algorithms, artificial intelligence and overflowing streams of data. We as humans are experiencing a tangible turn in our collective behaviour, a shift towards new cognitive states. How can a tiny individual observe and understand such a change, a significant moment in time while still inside it?
The Empty Green is a multidisciplinary body of work observing humanity inside digital transformation. Studying the often-absurd nature of this ongoing process, this exhibition is a first attempt to more closely examine the complexity of the contemporary self, deconstructing a vast horizon into smaller points of focus.
The exhibition is a multimedia installation composed mainly of photography and video. Looking at the shift happening around us through warm glasses, Mikko Kelloniemi observes his personal and often complex relation to the digital world. The exhibition is a study of the self: identity, memory, self-image and subjectivity. It consists of works from three different series that all provide a different view into the peculiar nature of the modern psyche.

Invisible organic structures connect us, protect us and support our body and soul as they unfold. This delicate web allows us to move without feeling friction and minimises pain. It ensures that each organ of this local society feels individual and independent. It encourages us to explore and expand our own boundaries. But where are my boundaries, connective tissue?
This exhibition shows the perspectives of children and young people from Moabit, captured through experimental analogue photographic processes. Under the direction of Kamel Froschmann and in collaboration with artists and creatives Céline Pilch, Shivani Hassard and Damla Kirev, as well as the Moabit collective for analogue photography AlMoaLab3000, this project was developed over a period of four months. During this time, youth and children's leisure centres were visited to encourage children and young people, with and without migration experience, to capture their world through the lens. This project was made possible by the Durchstarten programme of Kultur_Formen.
In addition, a series of installations curated with Laura Tenenboim, the director of Schulgarten Moabit, will be presented. These installations bring together the creative work of the children from Moabit that was created during the summer.

Europacity, the prime cut in the eyes of real estate investors, has been completely carved up. Every free inch has been paved over, and the properties are sold and rented at exorbitant prices. But how are the people living here doing?
As an artistic initiative, Der Offene Kanal Europa has been instigating discourse and exchange in this new district through various art campaigns since 2020.
"Endziel Glückseligkeit" (Final Destination: Bliss) is an ongoing project by artist Constanze Klar that deals with the absurdity of human existence and is focused on encounters. Following the motto "The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak," we will either face reality together or escape it (depending on the situation). The site-specific and stock-related beer and water bar keeps us in good spirits, analyses the current state of affairs and draws people to this still unfamiliar place in Moabit.
The mobile bar will be moving around Otto-Weidt-Platz. Come and find us!

The band "Emotionaler Aufpreis" is made up almost entirely of cake, sausage, and intestines. Your hair will stand on end as Winnie the Pooh sweetly whispers melodies into your ear.
This theatrical punk band from Moabit was formed during the collective, non-commercial festival Nimmermeer and features a lineup of drums, electric guitar, vocals and cello. Their music is poetic and tells stories of culinary excess, friendship, and love. For the Ortstermin Moabit, the band has developed a set design made of fabric intestines, fabric sausages, and organic wax sculptures. Guts are turned inside out, representing raw emotion. Flesh as the material humans are made of, flesh as provocation, flesh as a symbol of vulnerability. With their playful style, the band appeals to both young and older audiences.

"The Symphony of Everyday Life"
Everything we hear around us profoundly and often unconsciously influences us. Everything is part of the great environmental sound symphony in which we live and which we shape ourselves—positively or negatively—through our actions and inactions. In the guided "soundwalks," participants explore the sounds of our environment and the intriguing aspects of the everyday things we thought we already knew well. At the same time, sensitivity is developed for the diversity and beauty, but also for the vulnerability of our acoustic environment. The soundwalks take place in principle, in any weather.

Everything is movement: stories told on paper.

Gunderlach‘s open compositions and the many references to city life epitomise the absurdity of the simultaneity of our everyday lives. .

EROS EMBODIED
Julian Larger, curated by Raphia Lina Zouaoui ↓
EROS EMBODIED - a multimedia reflection on flesh and being, characterised by physicality, love, queerness and religion. It explores the interfaces between sacred and profane forms of love. Julian Larger questions whether and how traditional views on sin and morality can be placed in the context of modern queer experiences. EROS EMBODIED is a visualisation of an inner conflict about how carnality and spiritual identities shape our understanding of intimacy and self, performed through painting, photography and installation.

Meat is Murder
Veronika Weidauer ↓

The exhibition ‘the art of everyday - absurd, funny, sustainable’ presents a collection of sculptures, installations and objects.
The inspiration for these works of art is life itself - in all its bizarre and absurd splendour, tragedy and humour. The creative process often begins with an everyday object that would otherwise have been ignored or thrown away. These can be materials such as construction foam, interesting packaging, a liquor bottle ... or other remnants that would normally end up in the rubbish bin.

I ♥️ Steak
Anne-Sophie Brunold ↓

Small objects made of paper are installed in a shop window. Everyday objects make up the material. These objects are reshaped and combined with each other to create new forms, whilst the original object still remains recognisable. The work develops its message from the tension between the new complex form and the simplicity of the stereometric original bodies.

This makes paradise-like landscapes visible on the canvas, as well as their fragility and destruction.

For the third time, Isa Zappe and Jakob Urban will project onto the brickwork site-specifically, critically playful and with the necessary touch of humour. Footnotes on bricks, carved face sausage, or simply a ride into the sweet sunset—This ain't Texas, this is for the cowgirls and -gays!

We will create a shop window installation that recreates a scenario at a meat counter. Using papier-mâché and drawing, we will model a display of sausages with humorous, emancipatory elements. Through the meat counter, we invite viewers to approach the goods like potential consumers and, upon closer inspection, find references to value production in the workplace, particularly in the art world, within the materials and prices.

The textile exhibition will predominantly be inspired by repetition and our everyday needs. Let’s talk about the fact that we are living in a big (rich) city.

Alice Rajasombat ↓
This is a contemporary version of the “Eaten heart” motif. A personal, plastic approach that tends to represent a horrifying tale of betrayal and revenge. The painting depicts a bloody heart that has just been ripped out and devoured by a dog. The image gives a precise idea of the act of “eating the heart”. It's a tragic episode, with a strong emotional charge.

Offener Kanal Europa meets: Endziel Glückseeligkeit
Constanze Klar, Nora Spiekermann ↓

Emotionaler Aufpreis: Lea Weik, Antonio Colli, Dennis Heiler, Insa Yip ↓
The performance can take place indoors or outdoors and lasts about 45 minutes. An electrical power source is required.

manpurse
Kasper Jakobsen ↓
‘manpurse’ is a 15-minute, 360-degree dance performance exploring the link between objects and gender stereotypes, highlighting the absurdity of societal labelling. The piece challenges these restrictions, emphasising that humans, made of the same flesh and blood, should freely choose the objects that enrich their lives. It raises awareness of the limitations we place on ourselves and others, including judgement, shame and expectations despite living in a system claiming freedom of choice..

The aim of the performance is to create an interactive and multisensory experience that combines art, gastronomy, and performative observation. The main concept is to set up beautifully decorated tables in various parts of the neighbourhood, where flower bouquets mimicking meat not only serve as decoration but are also integrated into the gastronomic presentation.
The audience is invited to come closer to the tables to examine the compositions and dishes in more detail. After the observation period, each viewer will receive a flower from the bouquets. This is meant to symbolise the unity and interaction between art and everyday life.

Moabit mit den Ohren
Thomas Gerwin ↓
"The Symphony of Everyday Life"
Everything we hear around us profoundly and often unconsciously influences us. Everything is part of the great environmental sound symphony in which we live and which we shape ourselves—positively or negatively—through our actions and inactions. In the guided "soundwalks," participants explore the sounds of our environment and the intriguing aspects of the everyday things we thought we already knew well. At the same time, sensitivity is developed for the diversity and beauty, but also for the vulnerability of our acoustic environment. The soundwalks take place in principle, in any weather.
