Performative guided tour with Jongbin Park, Jae-Pyung Park (in Deutsch, English, mixed languages) ↓
Metting Point:

Gwisin(Ghost) Tour employs the metaphor of ghosts to explore invisibility and disembodiment from the flesh, related to the marginalization, disconnection, and displacement of migrant and minority identities. The performance presents multilingual texts dramatizing case studies, interviews, ghost narratives, and archived voices related to socio-political contexts through video and sound installation. Audiences will join a night tour in Moabit, where they will encounter ghostly traces in urban landscapes.

Western modernism is strongly linked to European colonialism. In our workshop, we will examine how colonial views have influenced our ideas of beauty and the discussion about architecture and cities. We will look at the Hansaviertel, an important example of Berlin Modernism from 1957, and question whether Western ideas of modernity really apply to everyone. In doing so, we are looking for new approaches.
