Who is the Open Call aimed at?
The Open Call is aimed at all artists and cultural professionals and their guests in Moabit and the Hansaviertel, as well as people who want to make their space in Moabit and the Hansaviertel available for exhibitions and events.
Of course, people from all over Berlin or beyond who are realising their project at a location in Moabit can also take part. However, the focus of ORTSTERMIN is to provide an insight into Moabit's art and cultural scene. We are therefore unable to consider entries from locations outside Moabit and the Hansaviertel neighbourhood.

How can I register?
Download the registration form and send it fully completed as a PDF to ortstermin@kunstverin-tiergarten.de or by post to:
Kunstverein Tiergarten
Turmstraße 75
10551 Berlin
Alternatively, the registration form can also be collected from the Galerie Nord during regular opening hours and returned there once completed.
▸
Until when can I register?
You can register up to and including 15 June 2024.
▸
I have an idea but no room.
Fill out the registration form in as much detail as possible and indicate that you have not yet found a suitable location. We will try to match projects with suitable spaces. However, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide a suitable venue. Please bear this in mind in your planning and continue to try to find a suitable space on your own. Be creative! It doesn't always have to be a gallery. Your favourite café, WG kitchen or backyard can also become an exhibition space.
▸
I would like to offer a space!
That's great! Please fill in the application form and specify exactly which projects are possible. How much space is available? Is there electricity/water/toilets? What are the opening hours? The more details we know, the better we can organise a suitable project.
▸
I am planning an event in a public space. What do I need to consider?
Permits must be obtained for events in public spaces. If possible, we would like to realise all projects
within the context of ORTSTERMIN and are happy to assist with the application process. We cannot cover any fees
that may be incurred! In addition to the application form for your project, please send us the following
information as soon as possible:
• exact details of the type and duration of the planned "disturbance"
• a sketch of the area of the public space where the event is planned
The sooner, the better!
▸
Can I get money or support for my project?
ORTSTERMIN is a non-commercial festival and is financed by public funding. Unfortunately, we cannot offer any financial or material support for projects. Possible points of contact for funding can be the Moabit Ost neighbourhood management, Beusselstraße or the Kreativ Kultur Berlin funding finder.
